Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is hiring Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes in and around the Marion, Ohio area!

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, and delivering skilled nursing services per orders while monitoring patient conditions and data.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN in the State of Ohio.
• TB test or Chest X-Ray.
• Hands-On BLS certification.
• One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Education

LPN Ohio license

TB test or Chest X-Ray

Hands-On BLS

1 year nursing experience preferred
