Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process, delivering skilled services per prescribed orders in patients' homes. LPN/LVN license, BLS, and TB/Chest X-ray are required; one year of nursing experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State-licensed LPN/LVN in the practicing state.
• Current TB test or Chest X-ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care on each assignment per prescribed orders.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Salary: $25 – $30 / per hour

Responsibilities:

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications:

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state in which the LPN will practice.
