Job summary

Duke Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for Duke Primary Care of Galloway Ridge in Pittsboro, NC. The role involves direct patient care under supervision, medication administration, and support for individualized care plans to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Hours are 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday, on-site. Eligible candidates may receive a $10,000 commitment bonus; relocation assistance is available based on eligibility. NC LPN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved Practical Nurse program is required.
• Current NC LPN licensure or NLC is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are essential for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV fluids as prescribed and maintain records.
• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a nurse or physician.
• Follow care plans and document patient responses and progress.
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and clinical tasks as directed.
• Identify and prioritize nursing needs and coordinate with the care team.
