Mayo Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide compassionate nursing care under supervision. You will collect patient data, assist with assessments, and participate in care planning with the RN and provider.

Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability are essential to succeed in a dynamic clinical environment. The role emphasizes relationship-based care, collaboration across care teams, and dedicated day shifts with potential extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards.
• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing preferred.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to work daytime hours, flexibility may be required to meet staffing needs.
• Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the RN or other supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist the RN and/or provider in patient assessment and care planning.
• Participate as a member of the health care team and accept delegation from the RN/assigned supervisor and provider.
• Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures of the organization and principles of relationship-based care.
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills and mentor/instruct others as needed.
