Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an LPN to provide nursing care to assigned patients under the supervision of the RN. You will collect data, assist in care planning, and contribute to a team-focused patient care approach.

The role involves delivering care per the patient care plan, participating in quality improvement, and working with a diverse healthcare team across Mayo Clinic facilities in Minnesota. Day shifts with potential extended hours are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a practical nursing program and LPN boards.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Computer skills required, prior experience with EMR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to assigned patients under direct supervision of the RN or other supervisor.
• Collect data through observation and communicate information to assist the RN/provider in care planning.
• Participate as a member of the health care team and accept delegation in meeting patient/family needs.
• Deliver care in accordance with the patient care plan, policies and procedures.
