Job summary

Orlando Health Physician Associates in Clermont, FL is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide and document individualized patient care, including evaluation, education, medication administration, IV therapy and post-procedure care under the RN or provider.

The role supports perioperative anesthesia with aseptic technique, equipment handling, and collaboration with anesthesia staff; shifts are Mon-Thu 7am-5pm and Fri 7am-12pm at 17319 Pagonia Road, Clermont.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school and hold Florida nursing license.
• Completion of a 30-hour IV therapy course within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to perform nursing procedures and collaborate with RN/physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care including evaluation, education and medication administration.
• Assist during examinations and procedures and communicate patient status to the team.
• Administer medications or immunizations per scope and maintain a safe care environment.
• Participate in perioperative anesthesia activities and aseptic technique.
• Set up anesthesia equipment and assist with emergencies as needed.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
