Job summary

NexCare WellBridge Senior Living in Brighton, MI is seeking an LPN to join our award-winning team. You will provide skilled nursing care across orthopedic, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative and other areas, while integrating with a strong interdisciplinary team.

You will earn $33.55 per hour with starting wage $30.15 and hero pay $3.40, plus yearly increases. We offer extensive benefits, tuition/loan assistance, 401k, and generous PTO.

Qualifications

• LPN Michigan license required; CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and rehabilitation.
• Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of treatments including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise on changes to medications and treatment plans.
• Provide preventative and supportive care to promote well-being.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests and families.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team including direction, training, and evaluations.

Our LPNs are a part of our skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. We Can Work With Your Scheduling Needs

• 12 Hour Shifts include rotating weekends and some holidays
• Day Shift - 7:00 am - 7:00 pm
• Night Shift - 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

How You Will Help People Every Day

• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• A current license to practice as an LPN in Michigan REQUIRED; current CPR-BLS certification.
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
