Flowers Hospital in Alabama is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for the Acute Care Unit on a full-time basis. The role supports postoperative and urology patients on 4 North, working 3 x 12-hour night shifts with rotating weekends.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, care plan implementation, and collaboration with RNs and the healthcare team. Eligible candidates hold LPN licensure, BLS, and ACLS preferred; sign-on bonus and loan repayment available.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of LPN experience in a healthcare setting.
• Active LPN license in Alabama or applicable state.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Document care in medical records accurately and timely.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
