Job summary

• BLS certification required (AHA) or obtained within 30 days of employment.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required depending on unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients based on the nursing process and hospital standards.
• Orient patients and family to the surrounding environment and act as a patient advocate.
