Qualifications

• Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN or RN program.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration and treatments.
• Assist with admission, transfer and discharge of residents.
• Document resident care services by charting in resident medical records.
• Educate residents regarding treatment and rehabilitation, and inform family members.
• Adhere to infection control policies and facility procedures.
• Consult with physicians regarding plan of care and notify changes.
• Maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
• Ensure quality of care per DOH and facility standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to resolve resident issues.
