Job description

Position: Medical Office Assistant

Responsibilities:

1. Greet the public and prepare patient care areas and patients for examinations.
2. Maintain patient care areas and equipment.
3. Assist with office procedures.
4. Schedule referrals, procedures, tests, and surgeries.
5. Provide telephone nursing.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of South Carolina.
• Experience in the duties listed above.
• Proven ability to work well with coworkers and patients, handle stressful situations appropriately, and demonstrate compassion.
• Experience with telephone nursing preferred.
