Job summary

Circle of Life Hospice is seeking a Triage LPN in Springdale, Arkansas. In this role, you'll be an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team, triaging patient calls and assisting with various patient care needs.

The ideal candidate will hold a current AR/OK LPN license and have strong assessment and communication skills. Experience in hospice or acute care settings is preferred. Work hours are from 4 pm to midnight on-site.

General Description

The Triage LPN is an integral part of the hospice interdisciplinary care team. This position triages patient calls, assesses needs, dispatches nursing staff, and facilitates multiple aspects of patient care needs. This position must be able to demonstrate compassion and exceptional customer service over the phone and with visitors. This position will use multiple computer, cloud, and software programs. Must maintain regulatory compliance and ethical judgement while performing duties.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted AR/OK LPN license.
• BLS certification.
• Strong assessment skills with critical thinking and high level of problem solving within a healthcare facility.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, ability to stay calm and cope with human suffering/emergencies.
• Prefer hospice experience, home health, or acute care nursing experience with computer charting experience.
