Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses to join our Per Diem team across Hampton Roads, VA. Per diem shifts offer flexible scheduling and competitive hourly pay, with same-day or next-day pay options.

Qualified candidates hold an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD must be within the last year, and candidates must meet physical requirements. Local applicants preferred.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in VA.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based experience.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• PPD completed within the last year.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Collect and document patient information.
• Provide wound care and patient education.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Coordinate care with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
• Perform additional LPN duties based on facility needs.
