Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern VA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for per diem roles in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. The position offers same-day or next-day pay and flexible scheduling, with full-time hours available as needed.

The role requires an active LPN license, at least 1 year of facility-based nursing experience, and current BLS/CPR certification. PPD within the last year is also required, with the ability to meet physical demands of the job.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license must be current and in good standing.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Minimum 1 year of facility-based nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care within the LPN scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collect and document patient information accurately.
• Provide wound care and patient education as needed.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition promptly.
• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
