Job summary

Health Here is seeking an LPN to provide patient care under supervision or direction of a registered nurse. You will coordinate patient care, uphold patient rights, and ensure confidentiality in a dynamic hospital setting.

The role involves floating across Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Med-Surg units, with flexible day/night shifts and no mandated weekends or holidays. LPN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS as required, and Epic experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of one year bedside LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for ED/ICU.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, IV as required by department.
• Preferred Epic electronic health records experience.

Responsibilities

They are responsible for coordinating patient care, maintaining patient rights, and ensuring confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Float between various hospital departments including Behavioral Health, Emergency Department, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units.
• Provide flexible, incentivized nursing care, with shifts including day or night, and no mandated weekends or holidays.
• Assist in delivering safe, compassionate patient care while maintaining professional accountability.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice, with up-to-date certification.
• Minimum of one year recent bedside LPN experience for Med Surg; two years for other specialties like ED, ICU.
• Certifications such as BLS, ACLS, PALS, and IV certification required depending on department.
• Preferred experience with Epic electronic health records.

Physical & Other Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds regularly.
• Prolonged standing, walking, and physical agility including reaching, bending, and kneeling.
