Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to deliver patient care under the supervision or direction of an RN. You will use the nursing process to provide care and coordinate with other departments to ensure quality treatment.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited practical nursing program with current LPN licensure in the practice state and may range from new to experienced.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience.
• Current LPN license in the state of practice, meeting all State Board requirements.
• Experience level can vary from new to experienced LPNs.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association, or able to obtain within 30 days.
• ACLS, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., or unit-specific certifications may be required based on the unit.

Physical Demands:

Standing and walking most of the time, with bending, stooping, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and patient handling with assistance.

Preferred Certifications:

IV Certification within one year of hire.
