Seeking a flexible Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role to provide patient care across various hospital departments.

Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinating care with other departments.

The role involves floating between facilities and departments such as Behavioral Health, Emergency, ICU, and Medical-Surgical units. Shifts are variable, with options for 4, 8, or 12 hours, offering flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current LPN license meeting state requirements
• Recent bedside LPN experience (minimum one year for Med Surg; two years for other specialties)
• Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred depending on department; IV certification required
• Preferred experience with Epic electronic health records

Physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, prolonged standing, walking, and performing various physical movements.
