Job summary

Lantern Hill by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to nursing standards of practice. This per diem role offers competitive pay and access to on-site health facilities.

You will assess residents, update care plans, supervise care associates, administer medications, and participate in care meetings to support resident well-being and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
• Licensed by State as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
• A passion to care for seniors and be a strong resident advocate.
• Experience with electronic medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, prioritizing resident-centered care.
• Assess, observe, and document residents' clinical condition and notify RN/provider as needed.
• Update or modify care plans to reflect changes in needs.
• Supervise and lead care associates.
• Administer medications timely and accurately according to orders.
• Participate in meetings related to resident outcomes and care.
• Respond to residents, families, or responsible parties professionally and promptly.
• Participate in clinical indicator reviews (falls, wounds, nutrition, antipsychotic use, etc.).
• Perform other duties as assigned by RN clinical leader.

Join our team as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN). The LPN/LVN is responsible for providing clinical care to residents in the neighborhood according to the nursing standards of practice, board of nursing, and Erickson Senior Living standards.

• Compensation: Between $31.00 - $42.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience.

How you will make an impact

• Developing relationships with the residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs and focusing on placing the resident first.
• Assessing, observing, and evaluating resident’s clinical condition, document findings in the resident electronic medical record, and notify the provider and/or RN when necessary.
• Updating or modifying care plans as needed to reflect any changes to a resident’s care and service needs.
• Supervising and leading care associates

• Responding to residents, family, or responsible parties in a timely and professional manner
