Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for its New York operations. The clinician will greet patients, prepare exam rooms, and support physicians with procedures and injections in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include administering meds, IV therapy, wound care, venipuncture when needed, and precise charting in the EHR. BLS certification is required at hire, with competency checks within 3 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of LPN school program.
• Current LPN licensure in New York state.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• IV and/or phlebotomy skills highly preferred.
• Completes competency skill checklist within first 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Escort the patient into the exam room and prep for procedures.
• Explain treatment procedures, medications, diets and physician instructions to patients.
• Administer medications including injections and IV therapy as licensed.
• Perform basic patient care such as wound dressing and catheters as needed.
• Chart patient information accurately and promptly in the EHR.
