FutureCare is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in Maryland. Under RN supervision, this role provides direct resident care, supports care planning, and ensures adherence to state and federal guidelines. The nurse will document progress and communicate changes to the oncoming shift.

We value teamwork, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to compassionate resident care. A Maryland LPN license and CPR certification are required; prior LTC/acute care experience

Qualifications

• Must possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
• CPR certification is required.
• Prior nursing experience in long-term or acute care is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in care planning and treatments under RN supervision.
• Deliver basic nursing care to residents on assigned unit.
• Review medical records to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Document care and report changes to shift supervisor.
• Evaluate referrals for suitability to documented nurse plans.
• Pursue professional growth and expand responsibilities.
