Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking an LPN to join our resident-focused nursing team. Under supervision of an RN you will assist with care planning, treatments, and documentation to ensure quality care for our residents.

We offer a competitive hourly salary ($31.25-$36.00), shift differentials, and a robust benefits package including tuition reimbursement and 401(k) matching.

Candidates must hold an active Maryland LPN license, have CPR, and at least one year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active Maryland LPN license.
• 1 year of nursing experience preferred.
• Current CPR license required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direct supervision of the RN, assist in care planning and treatments for residents and consults with other nursing staff as appropriate with applying knowledge and resources
• Demonstrate basic knowledge and skills required to care for the resident population on an assigned unit
• Review resident medical records to ensure nursing practice provided is within State and Federal guidelines
• Document care provided and report changes in resident status to shift supervisor
• Review all referrals for consultation, treatment or resolution of problems are valid and applicable to the documented nurse plans
• Seeks opportunities for professional growth and expansion of responsibilities to maintain competency levels
• Set and implement goals and policies consistent with the philosophy and purpose of FutureCare’s nursing facility
