Job summary

FutureCare in Maryland is seeking licensed practical nurses to join our caregiving team serving residents with compassion. Under RN supervision, you will assist with care planning, treatments, and direct patient care on your assigned unit, while adhering to state and federal guidelines.

Candidates must hold an active LPN license in Maryland, have CPR, and preferably 1 year of nursing experience in acute or long-term care.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license issued in Maryland
• CPR certification
• 1 year nursing experience preferred
• Experience in long-term or acute care a plus

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist with care plans and treatments for residents.
• Provide essential nursing care on assigned unit per standards.
• Review records to ensure compliant nursing practice.
• Document care and report changes to shift supervisor.
• Assess referrals for validity against nurse plans.
• Pursue growth opportunities to expand responsibilities.
• Set and implement goals aligned with FutureCare's philosophy.
