Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide nursing care under the supervision of an RN or supervisor. The LPN will collect data, assist in assessment and care planning, and participate in a patient-centered care team.

The role requires an LPN license, BLS, and strong communication; daytime hours with 4x10s. Schedule details include 0700–1730 shifts. This position is non-exempt with a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards after a defined period in a professional nursing program.
• Current LPN license by applicable state requirements; Arizona BLS for Health Care Providers.
• One year LPN experience preferred within the last five years.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• The LPN provides nursing care to assigned patients under the direct supervision of the RN or other supervisor.
• Collects data through observation and communicates information to assist the RN/provider in assessment and care planning.
• Deliver care per patient care plan, policies, and procedures of the organization and relationship-based care.
• Mentoring and instructing; may participate on committees or quality improvement projects.
