The ideal candidate is an LPN with Virginia licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and 1 year of nursing experience.

Formación

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program graduate required.
• 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• LPN license with the Virginia Department of Health Professions required upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately completes all required clinical documentation per Riverside Medical Group standards and maintains patient records.
• Maintains clinical competency, prepares patients for examination, and assists with procedures and medication administration.
• Provides patient education about medications and care plans; follows up on lab results and referrals.
• Answers calls from patients, pharmacies, and providers; communicates results and schedules tests as ordered.
• Ensures proper reimbursement by pre-authorizing prescriptions and procedures; participates in multidisciplinary care meetings.
