Qualifications

• Program Graduate, Licensed Practical Nurse (Required).
• 1 year Nursing experience (Preferred).
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire(Required)

Responsibilities

• Accurately completes all required clinical documentation consistently per Riverside Medical Group standards.
• Provides patient education as needed and educates patients about medications prescribed.
• Answers telephone calls from patients, pharmacies, physicians, vendors, etc. by close of business.
• Ensures proper reimbursement from insurance companies by performing pre-authorization for prescription drugs, procedures, and patient tests.
• Demonstrates ability to build trusting collaborative relationships with a multi-disciplinary team to support patient care needs.
