• Provides patient education and facilitates timely follow-up on lab results, prescriptions, and appointments.
• Answers telephone calls from patients and pharmacies and communicates lab/pathology results as ordered.
• Ensures proper reimbursement from insurance by performing pre-authorizations for prescription drugs, procedures, and tests.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and participate in meetings as assigned.
