Job summary

Starr Regional Medical Center in Etowah, TN is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for long-term care. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified applicants.

Schedule involves 3x12 hour shifts one week and 4x12 hour shifts the next, nights 7p–7a with rotating weekends. As part of Lifepoint Health, you will contribute to assessments, care planning, daily living support, and advocacy for patients' physical and emotional well-being under RN supervision.

Qualifications

• Current Tennessee Licensed Practical Nurse license is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, assist with patient assessment by collecting data for RN review.
• Execute plan of care interventions, including wound care and specimen collection; may administer medication.
• Assist RN in developing and updating the plan of care.
• Help patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
• Monitor and document patient status and reactions to interventions; communicate with RN, physician, patient and families.
