Job summary

Community Medical Services (CMS) is urgently hiring a Nurse to administer medications to patients recovering from opioid use disorders. You will work under the Clinic Manager to conduct testing, maintain inventory, audit records, and assist providers in delivering a safe recovery environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in state of employment
• CPR certification
• Ability to travel to CMS sites
• Valid Driver License and MV clearance
• Reliable transportation
• Experience in substance use disorders preferred, not required
• Knowledge of signs of intoxication and withdrawal

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by CMS medical provider
• Monitor behavioral and medical symptoms related to dosage
• Obtain vital signs, blood and urine samples
• Process point-of-care urine drug screens
• Prepare take-home medications when applicable
• Maintain accurate client records in CMS EHR
• Document medication errors and respond to adverse reactions
• Deliver medications to external facilities
• Maintain medication inventory records
• Adhere to all regulations and qualifications
