Job summary

Phaxis is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a well-established orthopedic practice in Uniondale, Long Island. The role offers a stable Monday–Friday schedule, 8:00 AM–4:15 PM, with optional Saturday hours and weekly pay.

This is a long-term contract position requiring orthopedic experience and NY licensure. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, patient intake and vital signs, medication administration, EMR documentation, and coordinating follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Active New York State LPN License.
• Minimum 1 year LPN experience preferred.
• Orthopedic, outpatient, or specialty practice experience a plus.
• Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with orthopedic patient care and treatments.
• Perform patient intake, assessments, and obtain vital signs.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Document patient information accurately in the EMR.
• Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions.
• Coordinate follow-up care and appointments.
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the practice.
