Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for outpatient clinics in Scranton, PA. This full-time role (40 hours/week, days) supports patient-centered care in a collaborative ambulatory setting.

Job description

Role:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in outpatient clinics, providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive ambulatory environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting providers with clinical tasks such as obtaining patient histories, vital signs, and preparing patients for examinations.
• Assisting with minor surgical and diagnostic procedures, collecting lab specimens, and preparing paperwork.
• Administering medications and vaccines, including skin testing, under provider supervision.
• Maintaining a clean environment, ensuring asepsis, and setting up examination rooms between patients.
• Communicating with patients, responding to inquiries, and coordinating follow-up on diagnostic tests to ensure quality care.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Nursing (required).
• Ability to provide care for specific age groups within assigned clinical areas.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical support skills.
• New and experienced LPNs are welcome.
