Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under RN supervision, monitor vitals and assist with ADLs.
• Conduct focused patient assessments and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections per orders and safety protocols.
• Assist in developing and evaluating patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in the medical record.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and post-discharge care.
• Follow infection control and safety standards, regulations, and policies.
• Assist with wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection within scope.
• Participate in orientation and training of new staff and students.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for patient care.
• Respond to emergencies and support code team under supervision.
