The role involves direct patient care under RN supervision, administering medications, and contributing to care plans while focusing on safe mobilization and discharge education.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting.
• Active LPN license in Alabama or eligibility.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of an RN.
• Conducts focused patient assessments and reports changes.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on health maintenance and discharge care.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
