Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking an LPN for the Medical/Surgical Unit. The role supports nursing assessment, care planning, and patient care delivery in a 7:00 am–7:00 pm day shift, 0.9 FTE position. You will follow hospital policies and Alabama Board of Nursing guidelines.

Qualifications include an active Alabama LPN license, 2 years hospital LPN experience for float pool LPNs, BLS and EKG training, and strong English communication. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in Alabama.
• Two years hospital LPN experience for float pool LPNs.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• BCLS and EKG course completion.
• Unit-specific competency requirements as delineated in unit tools.
• Ability to function independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care activities for adults in the Medical/Surgical Unit.
• Contribute to nursing assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Adhere to hospital policies and Alabama Board of Nursing guidelines.
• Support the mission and values of the hospital and department.
