Job summary

WellBridge of Romeo in Romeo, MI is seeking dedicated RN/LPN nurses to join our award-winning Skilled Nursing team. You’ll care for patients across orthopedics, cardiac care, respiratory health, and more, while leveraging cutting-edge technology.

The role offers 12-hour shifts (nights 7p-7a) with full-time status, rotating weekends and some holidays. Competitive pay starts at $34.15/hr for RNs with hero pay of $3.40/hr, up to $37.55/hr; yearly increases and comprehensive benefits accompany this

Qualifications

• RN license required (MI) or LPN license.
• Current CPR-BLS certification required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Long Term Care experience required.
• Strong analytical abilities for care plans and problem solving.
• Excellent customer service and compassionate care.
• You are a team player and support your teammates.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions.
• Perform treatments including wound care, IV therapy, tube feedings, and dialysis.
• Administer medications as prescribed and advise families on changes.
• Provide preventative and supportive care directed to patient well-being.
• Oversee Nurse Aide team with direction, training, and evaluations.

We can work with your scheduling needs:

How you will help people every day:

• You will promote hospitality and excellent customer service in our every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors. Through kind words and encouragement, you will promote a positive, healthy environment in which to heal and thrive.
• You will perform a variety of treatments, including would care, irrigations, IV therapy, tube feedings, chest tubes and peritoneal dialysis.
• You will administer medications to patients as prescribed by the physician and advise patients and families regarding changes to medications, treatment plans, and patient condition.
• You will provide preventative and supportive care directed to the physiologic and psychosocial well-being of patients.
• You will oversee the Nurse Aide team including giving direction & assignments, offering training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team:

• Michigan Registered Nurse RN License Required OR LPN Practical Nurse
• Current CPR-BLS certification required
• An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
• Long Term Care Experience REQUIRED !
• A high level of analytical abilities in order to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative Care!
• You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
