Job summary

Riverwalk Communities, now under Sterling Healthcare Management, LLC, seeks a compassionate RN or LPN to join our assisted living team. You will provide direct nursing care and wellness oversight to residents, supporting independence and dignity in a collaborative setting.

We offer multiple shifts with full-time, part-time, and casual positions, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a supportive leadership team focused on a positive work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident wellness assessments and monitor changes in condition.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and ALF regulations.
• Develop and maintain individualized service plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and the care team promptly.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to medication aides and care staff on your shift.
• Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care, treatments, and catheter care.
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and outside providers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state ALF regulations and community policies.
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record.
• Participate in care planning, quality improvement, and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of practice
• Graduate of an accredited nursing programCurrent BLS/CPR certification
• Assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• Genuine compassion for elderly residents and their families
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
