Job summary

Sterling Healthcare Management, LLC is seeking a dedicated LPN or RN to join our long-term care team in Elwood, IN. You will provide direct nursing care, manage medications, and support residents' health and comfort in a supportive environment.

We offer competitive pay, flexible shifts, and a team that values your ideas. Required are an Indiana license, BLS/CPR, and long-term care experience; weekend/holiday shifts are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted LPN or RN license in Indiana
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS/CPR certification
• Long-term care or geriatric nursing experience preferred
• Strong medication administration and observation skills
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Administer oral, topical, and injectable medications per physician orders
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and report to the supervising RN
• Perform wound care, catheter care, ostomy care, and treatments
• Obtain and document vital signs, weights, and intake and output
• Implement care plans as directed by the RN and care team
• Supervise and delegate tasks to CNAs on your shift
• Communicate with residents, families, and the nursing team
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record
• Follow infection control, safety, and facility standards

What You'll Do
