Job summary

Riverwalk Communities in Evansville, IN seeks a compassionate RN or LPN to join our assisted living team. You will provide direct nursing care and wellness oversight to residents, supporting independence and dignity while serving as a clinical resource for the care team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or geriatric nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct resident wellness assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and ALF regulations
• Develop and maintain individualized service plans with the care team
• Communicate changes in resident condition to physicians, families, and the care team promptly
• Supervise and delegate tasks to medication aides and care staff on your shift
• Perform skilled nursing tasks including wound care and catheter care
• Coordinate with physicians, home health, hospice, and outside providers as needed
• Ensure compliance with state ALF regulations and community policies
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record
• Participate in care planning, quality improvement, and resident satisfaction initiatives

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted RN or LPN license in the state of practice

• Genuine compassion for elderly residents and their families
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
