Grifols is seeking a Center Medical Specialist in Brookings, SD, to support donor care at our plasma donation center. You will perform donor exams, maintain confidentiality, and educate donors on health and test results.

The role requires nursing licensure (LPN/LVN or RN) in the state, CPR certification, and strong patient rapport. Experienced healthcare professionals are encouraged to apply, with career growth and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• CPR certification required.
• Experience in donor care or transfusion medicine is a plus.

About the Job

• Perform physical examination and establish medical history to determine donor suitability

• Provide donor education regarding general health and provide counseling regarding unacceptable test results
• Evaluate & manage donor injuries and adverse events
• Perform evaluations of any history of illness or medications to ensure continued donor suitability
• Assist in employee training
• Administer employee Hepatitis Vaccine program

Job Requirements

• Educated and currently certified/licensed in the state of employment and according to state requirements as a Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Vocation Nurse or Registered Nurse.
• CPR certification required.
