Job summary

Essentia Health’s Park Rapids Clinic is seeking an LPN or CMA to provide direct patient care in our internal medicine practice. The role runs 8 am–5 pm, Monday–Friday, with a flexible 0.6 FTE schedule and occasional Saturday shifts every six months.

Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse of Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our internal medicine practice at our Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Typically this employee will work three days a week, but is a flex employee who may be required to increase or decrease their schedule without notice. No holiday or on‑call rotations are required, but two Saturday shifts will be required every six months.

Education Qualifications:

• Education as required for licensure.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• LPN: Current LPN licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing upon hire.
• CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.
• Both: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
