Job summary

Essentia Health’s Park Rapids Clinic is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant to join the internal medicine team. The position is 0.6 FTE with a schedule of 8 am–5 pm, Monday through Friday, three days per week, plus two Saturdays every six months.

Flex scheduling is possible; no holiday or on-call rotations are required. You will provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings, support the care team, and ensure licensure requirements are met while caring for

Job Description:

Essentia Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse of Certified Medical Assistant to serve in our internal medicine practice at our Park Rapids Clinic in Park Rapids, Minnesota. This LPN or CMA works 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. Typically this employee will work three days a week, but is a flex employee who may be required to increase or decrease their schedule without notice. No holiday or on-call rotations are required, but two Saturday shifts will be required every six months.

• Education as required for licensure.

Licensure/CertificationQualifications:

• LPN: Current LPN licensure with the Minnesota state board of nursing upon hire.

• CMA: current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified withinone year of date of hire. Must pass certification withintwo attempts.

• Both: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
