Job summary

Essentia Health Park Rapids is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our specialty clinics. You will pick up open shifts in the ENT clinic based on needs and availability, room patients, and assist with procedures in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

Shifts run Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with two Saturday shifts every six months (8:00 am–12:00 pm). We offer strong benefits, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current LPN licensure in Minnesota upon hire.
• CMA registration or certification, or completion of CMA program with certification within one year.
• AHA BCLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN, Physician and other providers with procedures.
• Room patients and ensure coordinated care across teams.
• Care for patients from newborn to elderly as indicated.

Job Description:

Essentia Health Park Rapids is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our Specialty Clinics team. In this role, you’ll pick up open shifts in our ENT Clinic and other specialty practices based on the needs of the clinics and your availability, contributing to high-quality, personalized patient care. Will perform identified procedures for which competencies have been demonstrated. Cares for patients ranging in age from newborn to elderly as noted on age-related category.

Licensure/Certification Qualifications:

• LPN: Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Minnesota upon hire.

• CMA: Current registration or certification as a Medical Assistant OR verifiable completion of a Medical Assistant Program and must become certified within one year of date of hire. Must pass certification within two attempts.

• BOTH: AHA Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 3 months of hire.
