Job summary

Advocate Health’s King, NC pediatric clinic seeks a Part-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the One Health Pediatrics team. You will support exams, labs, and patient education while working with physicians and nurses to ensure quality care. Schedule is part-time with varied days, totaling approximately 24 hours weekly.

The role requires an LPN license, BLS, and completion of a PN program. Competitive pay ranges from $24.10 to $36.15 per hour, with comprehensive benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the practicing state.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required within 45 days.
• Accredited Practical Nursing program completed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and room patients, taking vital signs and documenting health information.
• Perform labs and specimen collection using aseptic technique.
• Assist physicians with procedures and minor surgeries as directed.
• Administer medications per orders and manage IV therapy per scope.
• Provide patient education and assist with referrals when needed.
• Communicate with health team and document patient status accurately.
• Maintain clean exam rooms and equipment; stock supplies as required.
• Support care management and participate in quality improvement activities.
