Job summary

Oneida Health GI Specialists in Oneida, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our GI office. The LPN will provide high-quality patient care under RN supervision, work independently and as part of a team, and support clinical operations in a busy GI clinic.

The ideal candidate will have an NY LPN license, 1 year Medical Office experience preferred, and be able to manage patient care, appointments, and documentation with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing preferred.
• New York LPN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification preferred.
• Medical Office experience: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for physician visits, record vital signs and medical history.
• Schedule patient appointments.
• Coordinate with after-hours care and update patient records.
• Provide clinical advice to patients by phone or messaging.
• Assist providers during appointments and examinations.
• Maintain patient records with accuracy.
• Perform equipment checks and stock supplies.
• Follow physician orders and arrange follow-ups.
• Communicate with the clinical team.
• Perform receptionist duties as needed.

Job Location: Oneida Health GI Specialists - Oneida, NY 13421 Salary Range: $23.00 - $29.90 Hourly Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Days Job Category: Nursing Oneida Health is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our GI office located in Oneida. The LPN in the Practice Setting is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while providing patients with exceptional care.
