Qualifications

• New York LPN license is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is preferred.
• 1 year of medical office experience is preferred.
• Medical office experience: 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments by gathering vital signs and medical history.
• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate after-hours care.
• Assist providers during appointments and examinations.
• Maintain patient records and manage clinic flow.
• Assisting providers with appointments and examinations.
• Using a customer service attitude to attend to patient needs.
• Following procedure for authorized medication administration and documentation.
• Performing treatments as directed including administering injectables.
• Managing clinic flow and ensuring patients are seen in an orderly manner.
• Maintaining patient records with attention to detail.
• Performing equipment checks and stocking supplies.
• Executing physician orders, scheduling follow-ups, and referrals.
• Communicating with other members of the clinical team.
• Performing receptionist duties as needed.

The LPN in the Practice Setting is responsible for providing high-quality care to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The ideal candidate will be able to work both independently and as part of a team while providing patients with exceptional care.
