Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a compassionate LPN to provide patient-centered care in a full-time role. The nurse will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and evaluate patient responses to interventions to achieve optimum outcomes.

The position requires graduation from an accredited LPN program, an active LPN license in Indiana (or NLC), BLS certification, orientation completion, and 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Active LPN license in Indiana or an active NLC LPN license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.
• Successful completion of orientation required.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care.
• Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team.
• Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement.

Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
Weekends: Every 3rd weekend
Holidays: Holidays on rotation
