Job summary

IU Health in Bloomington, IN is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the team. The role supports immunizations, health screenings, and preventive care in a clinical setting.

You will implement the nursing process, collaborate with the healthcare team, and document results. Requires graduation from an accredited LPN program and an active Indiana LPN license with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Active LPN license in Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact.
• Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required.
• Orientation successfully completed.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience preferred.

• Part-Time/Days

• Monday-Thursday8:00-4:30, some evenings and weekends required.

Location- 333 E Miller Drive, Bloomington, IN. 47401

Responsibilities:

• Administer vaccinations and immunizations.

Description:

Knows and uses the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to individual patients. Collaborates with other members of the healthcare team. Evaluates response to interventions and patient status toward goal achievement. Accepts delegated nursing measures for which he or she knows he or she is prepared, qualified and licensed to perform.

• Requires graduation from a nationally accredited licensed practical nursing program.
• Requires an active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) LPN license.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
• Successful completion of orientation required.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
