Central Georgia Technical College invites applications for an Nursing - Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) Instructor. The role includes classroom and clinical teaching, syllabi development, and evaluating student progress in alignment with program goals.

Ideal candidates hold an ADN, an active GA RN license, at least three years of RN practice, and BLS certification; teaching experience at the postsecondary level is preferred.

Qualifications

• Earned Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited RN program
• Active Georgia license as a registered nurse in good standing
• Minimum of three years of practice as an RN within the last seven years
• BLS Certification
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Nursing
• Preferred: Teaching experience at the postsecondary level

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to students in classroom and clinical lab settings
• Develop program goals and objectives and evaluate student progress
• Maintain grade books and records and follow testing procedures
• Assist Program Director with budgeting for equipment and supplies
• Travel to college sites and clinical settings as needed
