10 Wilmington Place, an assisted living community, is seeking a dedicated LPN to join our team on a full-time second shift (2pm–10:30pm). You will provide nursing care to residents per physician orders, ensuring high standards of care and adherence to policies.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.

Job Summary:

Provides nursing care to residents according to physicians' orders and in conformance with recognized nursing practices, established standards and administrative policies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer personal hygienic, preventative, therapeutic and rehabilitative services to residents.
• Assist in maintaining a positive physical, social and psychological environment in accordance with residents needs and facility philosophy.
• Provides for the community and priority of resident care while assuring for the comfort, emotional care and support of residents
• Assist with the nursing process of the unit, and provides input regarding needed or desired changes
• Maintains documentation which accurately and completely records data pertaining to individual resident care, condition and treatment
• initiates and supervises necessary action on the event of an emergency or disaster
• Protects residents, their privacy and property
• Provides staff coverage for the following shift in the event of absenteeism
• Confers with the DON as necessary to provide input regarding resident care needs, staffing requirements and nursing supply needs for the units
