Job summary

Four Chaplains Nursing Care Center in Westland, MI is seeking an experienced Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our award-winning team. You will supervise the nursing staff, conduct rounds, and guide care planning while ensuring top-quality patient service and safety.

The role requires an active LPN license, CPR/BLS certification, and a relevant degree. This full-time position involves rotating shifts and a commitment to exceptional patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

Current license to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN).
Current CPR/BLS certification.
An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or higher.
Analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans and rehabilitation, and solve problems.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, compassionate care.
Team player with dedication to supporting colleagues and completing tasks.

Responsibilities

Supervise the nursing team including directing assignments, training, and evaluations.
Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
Instruct the team regarding skilled care processes and act as a clinical resource.
Ensure completion of requested reports (infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management).
Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, families and visitors.

Our Nurses, both RN and LPN Practical Nurses, are a part of our skilled nursing team that provides specialized care to patients in a variety of areas including orthopedics, cardiac, respiratory, oncology, palliative care, infections, neurology and dermatology. You will be empowered to assess the needs and implement care as you deem necessary utilizing the latest in technology and being a part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

You Will Earn

Base Wage: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour based on years of certification
PLUS $3.40 per hour hero / Hazard Pay
PLUS Shift Premium - $1.00 per hour for 3rd shifts (Midnights)

How You Will Help People Every Day

What you will need to be part of our EPIC team

A current license to practice as a Practical Nurse - LPN;
