Job summary

Christian Living Communities (CLC) | Cappella Living Solutions (CLS) is hiring a Licensed Practical Nurse for night shifts on a part-time basis. The role focuses on organizing, directing and implementing resident care in alignment with state/federal regulations and company standards.

Wage range posted is $33.28 to $39.45 per hour. The position requires one year of long-term care experience, potential IV certification, and strong computer and English language skills.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• 1 year of experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
• IV Certification preferred.
• Must have computer word processing and database experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend appropriate Resident Care conferences; maintain Resident Care Plans ensuring accuracy and relevancy.
• Prepare, administer and document medications according to physician orders; order medications as needed and replace expired meds.
• Document patient care issues and report them to appropriate personnel.
• Recognize signs and symptoms and use judgment in selecting appropriate treatment or procedures.
• Supervise and direct ancillary personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
